December is just around the corner, so with 2019 coming to a close we’d like to look back at what a great year this was for the FOSDP and our supporters.
We were finally able to open Phase I of the Scituate Dog Park! The Grand Opening on September 28 was a success. Dozens of dogs and their humans came out to celebrate and we raised over $300 in donations. We were especially honored to have Senator Patrick O’Connor and State Rep. Patrick Kearney in attendance and were beyond humbled when they awarded Friends of Scituate Dog Park an Official Citation in recognition of the opening of the Scituate Dog Park.
On October 26, our 3rd Annual Howl-oween Fundraiser was another successful event. Fantastic raffle and silent auction items, generous sponsors, and wonderful guests helped us raise approximately $5,000 toward Phase II ~ the small dog park.
It's your last chance this year to contribute to Phase II and the annual upkeep of Scituate's beloved new dog park. With your help, we may be able to get the small dog park built next year.
Here’s how you can join our efforts: • Make a tax deductible gift Click Here to Donate • Volunteer with us • Help us get the word out on social media by sharing, tagging and liking our posts • Take videos/photos of your dog/s having fun at the Scituate Dog Park, share why FOSDP matters to you, tag us, and post them on your social platforms
Together, we can raise the $100K needed to build Phase II, but it’s only possible with the generosity of people like you.
