3rd Annual Howl-oween Fundraiser Recap
FOSDP had a blast celebrating with everyone at The Barker Tavern on October 26th. The support we’ve received from so many over the past 3.5 years has kept us going when times got rough and grew our little nonprofit bank account into a dream finally realized. Well, mostly realized. We still need to build the small dog park and the generosity of the event attendees got us approximately $5000 closer to that goal! Thank you!
Special thanks to our Sponsors
Gold: Michelle Anne Murphy, Realtor, NHN
Silver: Craig Martin of Goodale Insurance in Cohasset AND Arthur and Susan Dauwer
Bronze: Donna Culburt of Donna’s Do Right Dogs
The success of our event was also made possible by a wonderful, hardworking team of Board Members and friends who all volunteer their time and talents to FOSDP. Board members: Andrew Boyle, Dr. Siobhan Burke, Donna Culburt, Britain Davis, Susan Dauwer, Lisa Huffman, Daniel Joyce, Kerry Tondorf, and Lisa Vaillancourt; Susannah Green of Sea Siren Studios for tirelessly updating our website and marketing materials; Courtney Jones and Jean Piers for always helping with set up and raffle ticket sales; Kat Hanafin for capturing all of the special moments with her wonderful photos of the event; and last, but certainly not least, Keith and Colleen Walo for the significant contributions they have made to this event each and every year.
If you missed it, check out the great costumes and fun!
Show your support for the Scituate Dog Park by purchasing a custom paver brick for the planned entryway. The bricks, starting at just $100, come in two sizes and can be inscribed with messages and clipart to convey your personal sentiments. Inscriptions can honor a loved one, memorialize a beloved pet, celebrate a family, or advertise local business support.
The bricks will be installed to create a mosaic of community commemorations and enhance the esthetics of the park’s landscape. We hope that you will buy a brick (or two) and MARK YOUR TERRITORY in the Scituate Dog Park!
Bricks can be purchased on-line with a credit card HERE or you can request an order form by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org then send your payment by check directly to FOSDP at P.O. Box 246, Scituate, MA 02066.
Our tails are wagging because M.J. Snow Landscape Contractors of Scituate has graciously offered to install the brick walk as a donation to Friends of Scituate Dog Park. Thank you Mike Snow!
